Off-Duty CHP Officer Killed in Motorcycle Accident

An off-duty police officer in California has been killed as a result of a motorcycle accident, Inside Bay Area reports. The victim has been identified as John Fanene, 38, of Napa, and the accident is being reported as a head-on collision. Fanene was driving a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle westbound on Highway 12 near Red Top Road at the time of the accident, according to a Solano County Coroner's Office spokesman.
