California Motorcyclist Reportedly Injured by DUI Driver
The streets can be dangerous, and one Bakersfield motorcyclist recently learned it the hard way. Bakersfield Now is reporting that Daniel Joseph Ryel, 19, suffered major injuries when his Suzuki motorcycle was hit by an oncoming motorist near the corner of Fairfax Road and Avondale Drive in Bakersfield.

Long Beach PD Launches “Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation”
First Napa, then Pasadena, and now the city of Long Beach is cracking down on reckless motorcyclists in its so-called “Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation.” The operation took place on June 30th, and involved placing additional police enforcement on specific, targeted Long Beach streets where accidents commonly occur.
