Some Important Fourth of July Safety Tips

The Fourth of July is once again upon us: a time for barbecues, swimming, American flags and, of course, fireworks. Before you head out on your motorcycle to celebrate our country's independence, you should bear in mind some important safety tips and observe common sense. In 2011 the U.S. Fire Administration reported that approximately 8,600 people visited the ER as a result of firework-related injuries. Of those injuries, 73 percent occurred between June 8 and July 18.
